Malaysian jungle Tualang honey (TH) shows remarkable anti-cancer effects in modulating breast carcinogenesis. The results of the study, published in BMC Complementary and Alternative Medicine, found that TH efficiently induces apoptosis (cell death) in breast cancer cells while regulating various hematological parameters.
Authors of this study conclude that TH is a natural breast cancer treatment. Tualang honey modulates hematologic, estrogenic, and apoptotic activities in breast cancer models. Researchers noted that these effects were profound and should be further studied.
