Researchers have discovered that nordamnacanthal, an anthraquinone found in cheese fruit (Morinda citrifolia), possesses anti-cancer properties. In the study, published in BMC Complementary and Alternative Medicine, in vivo and in vitro experiments were used to determine the cytotoxic effects of nordamnacanthal.
